I love coming up with names for my characters…but, it’s without a doubt one of the most difficult things for me to do. It just has to be…perfect. I think of who the character is, as a whole, first…and then I think of a name that captures that. It’s harder in a modern setting, since I can’t make up wild names, and I don’t know every name in the book…My favorite is Hadet. He started out being a guard in the royal palace, but then he became my dog in Dragon Age: Origins.

Ah, Dragon Age…good name, too. I named my dog Noble ^_^ not the most creative name, I know…but I found it fitting 😉

Mine was named Kath, as a tongue in cheek reference to KOTOR…

Wow this comment thread is derailing.

Trust me, protoAlphans, this is not the most derailed conversation one can have.

Okay, enough pussy-footing around the issue! How old are you guys? I’m 14, so I’m actually at the very youngest end of the age range… 🙁

I be 17…but, not so much that I can recall it off the top of my head.

    18, and slightly sheepish about it… I think I’m probably a 4th grader deep down. 🙂
